2016 Year ahead Summary of Global Outlook
2015 has been a mix year for Indian financial markets. While Nifty/Sensex have returned small negative returns 2015 YTD, broader market returns have been much better. Due to global uncertainties, FIIs have withdrawn capital from Indian market but DIIs compensated for the same. Moreover, domestic household investors meaningfully participated in equities in the year 2015, which provided the much needed balance in flow of funds.
